He had a bad stroke in 2022 in October, and it left him in super bad shape, he passed away at the age of 60 in hospice.

    RIP - bearded charmer!!!

You were a great compliment to Mike Wolf.

Frank had health issues way before the stroke and was missing from the show before that. The last few years have probably been rough on him. The dude stopped being a "regular" after he had back surgery, then he had issues with Crohn's disease, he'd lost a ton of weight, and who knows what else. Hopefully he's at peace.

Loved watching AP when I was having a rough go at it. Their nonsense got me through some tough times. RIP big guy. Thank you for standing up for the lowly oil can.

I watched the show when I was 12 and brought home a hub cap I found on the side of the road because I thought it was art. Thanks, American pickers.

At least Mike and Frank reconnected as friends before he passed as it would have been a shame if they went out not having done so with the negative media coverage that ensued between them. I don't recall exactly what the beef was but I believe it was when Frank had surgery on his back and was laid up not having heard from Mike at all (lack of support) and it was noted Frank had an alcohol issue from what I recall. Then, the show moved on without Frank. This was pre-stroke stuff.

I always enjoyed watching Mike and Frank picking around the country. They had something special going. It wasn't the same when Frank was no longer around. I was hoping for a comeback but that obviously wasn't in the cards. RIP
