I know this is an improper place for this question, couldn't find a better one. Maybe a weird question, but trust me there's a good reason: When is the last time any of you have eaten at a Los Tios in Houston? And was it any good?
I’m not a fan but the one at Kirkwood and Memorial is still going strong. They built out a little bar area in there that’s heavily trafficked by West Houston soccer moms. I prefer La Ha.
They have expanded into Galleria and West U over the past 5 years. Good not great. seems popular with families
New place in The Woodlands called Don Chuy that's damn good. And you can buy your meats and tortillas by the lb.
We need to clarify one thing, a best taco is not at a tex mex place. So if you are suggesting Ninfas, El Tiempo, Teotihuican, or any other white people magnet, you are likely not eating a best taco. I'm sorry.
I went to a birria/Philly cheesesteak truck on El Dorado or somewhere around there... No bueno. I went to a birria place years ago in Kemah of all places that had goat birria that was easily the best.
