I’m so pissed we didn’t pair this defensive minded HC with an OC that can’t be a Hc but is close LIKE KINGSBURY.. dude is killing it in Washington.. but no, Demeco shows loyalty to Slowik, shows loyalty to Jimmie Ward instead of Justin Simmons, loyalty to Pitre in the nickel, loyalty to Tunsil.. MAKE SOME CHANGES.

We’re 3-1, top of the conference, and just beat a rival. STFU.

I just want to see the penalties drop. Just plz, just stop with the negative plays and forcing CJ to play the hero all the damn time in 2 and 15 or 3rd and 20+. The Texans will honestly look amazing without those penalties.

You don't need to get all nasty. We barely beat one of the worst teams in the NFL. Levis and Lawrence have been terrible this year. Our conference is the worst in the league, and our vets are still making far too many stupid penalties. I'm still waiting to see a big improvement. Now, we whoop the Ravens, Chiefs and Bills and I'll be the first to say we are better than last year.

Laugh all you want. I'm still not seeing any improvement in our defense and secondary since our off-season trades, releases and signings. I about puked when Greenard sacked CJ three times last week.

I felt this way after the Bears game. It was one of the least satisfying wins I can ever remember. I was not happy at all.

Today, I was pretty happy with the dub. It shouldn’t have been close and we are sloppy af but this is a game we EASILY could’ve dropped, and CJ made plays to go out there an win the game in the end, so I’m just gonna accept we played like **** for most of the second half and enjoy the win. It’s okay to be lucky every now and then.

At the end of the day, it’s a long season and we have a lot to clean up, but it feels better know we have to correct those mistakes while 3-1 instead of 2-2 after a 2-0 start.

So, I'm a fairly new football fan and don't know much about everything like positions just the basics.... Just started watching Texans last year, anyways the guy Tunsil gotta go..... Hate that mf like Maldy on the Astros.... I don't know how important he is but from what I've seen cut his ass....

I guess the big difference is maldy was the worst player in baseball while tunsil is one of the best players at his position

For those who are disappointed with our pass rush, Im kind of with you. But heading into todays game, Anderson and Hunter has the highest pressure rate in the league - just not finishing for whatever reason. To speak on this game more specifically, Lawrence has always been a guy that gets the ball out quick so sacks are always light when we play them.

While I expected more out of the D, they are far from the problem. Other than a few longs runs, they are keeping the running game in check. Lassiter and Pitre were picked on a lot this game so they have to make adjustments. I trust Demeco will figure it out... time for King to make his reappearance? Will the return of Harris and Autry make a big difference? Hope so.

Problem #1 is the offensive line - obviously. Negative plays and not getting any consistency in the run game is holding this team back. Not sure if it's the players or coaching. Despite what you think, all of these penalties are a little out of character. Is it the refs only having eyes for our guys? Is the oline not being coached up? Is it scheme?

I dont have the answers but feeling OK being 3-1 with not having played anywhere near our best ball. Schedule gets tougher so we get to really find out what this team is about.

Believe me, I was cheering like crazy when we came back and won. It just worries me how hard we made it look to beat such a crappy team, and yeah, I felt the same about that Bears loss. I think last week watching Greenard sack CJ over and over just really irked me. I really hated letting him go, especially at a young age.

So you can’t really do that. But I can understand how someone new to the game would think Tunsil sucks. He doesn’t, but he’s also not really the ideal type of tackle you want to have. Good at pass blocking, okay at run blocking, doesn’t give a damn about penalties. Lacks focus. Has the physical gifts to be a hall of famer but the mentality of Tracy McGrady. Happy to rest on laurels and get paid.

The line is most concerning with the amount of investment. They haven't played together enough, but the guards have been really, really bad.

Also, not going to track down the previous post, but someone said the Jaguars lost this game, more than we won - due to coaching decisions and over throws. Penalties, a few overthrows from our own, and a gift from Sims, will beg to differ. Wasn't a pretty game but we have our Coleridge to save us.

LMAO our sat guy looks like the Casserole Big Brain meme. Also, our ‘stat guy’ is exactly what you want a stat guy to look like. .50sec mark.

There are very few things less satisfying as a fan than watching your defense “succeed” bc an opposing QB missed a wide open receiver.

Whoa, yeah that makes sense.... Every time I see the flag thing my brain automatically thought Tunsil again and more times then not I was right.... I hope he gets it together if he has potential to be great....

It's been a rough start for him no doubt, but he also is the best we have (and one of if not the best in the league) at keeping stroud clean, which is just super super valuable
