Texans have played in regards to game grades so far. B- C+ F C+ 3-1 after playing this poorly is wild.
Glad we won but I thought we were quite poor. We’re lucky we played one of the worst teams in the NFL at home and escaped with the W. The miscues and penalties are very concerning. That does not speak well of the organization and it’s worrying.
After hearing all the praise of Lassiter during training camp, I'm disappointed. Hopefully its just a rookie thing but he was getting burnt like toast all game.
With Stroud under center just Average 4.2 yards per carry running the ball, don't spot the other team a free TD and limit yourselves to 3 penalties and you will be able to have a shot at Buffalo. It's not that big of an ask for a professional team but here we are.
So is their defense. They sacked the Jags 5 times last week. I sure hope they design some plays with a quick step back and air it down field for Collins or Diggs to get to. The plays took far too long to develop today, and the Bills wont make it easy for CJ to wait for someone to get open.
I got a feeling the Texans are gonna be beat the Bills. Idk why I have that feeling, it just feels like a trap game for the Bills. & the Texans know they have to play better
Both he and Stingley need to be playing press coverage. Demeco is way too conservative. Press coverages, lots of gambling especially when Harris gets back. Open up both offense and defense and take advantage of our speed.
This year he is at 10 with 7 of them being pre-snap (false start, illegal formation) Would have been 8 pre-snap out of 9 penalties but one was declined. 2023 - 11 total, 8 pre-snap 2022 - 10 total, 7 pre-snap 2021 injured 2020 - 7 total, 4 pre-snap 2019 - 20 total, 14 pre-snap and 3 declined 2018 NFL Linemen Penalties | Pro-Football-Reference.com
