Texans accomplished the most important thing, which was win. But that was a very underwhelming victory. This team has a lot of issues, on offense, defense and coaching.
Glad we got the win but this team is too talented to continue to have close games against the weak part.of their schedule like this. The mental part of the game has to get infinitely better.
Should have been an easy win. Turnovers and penalties prevented an easy and fun afternoon. Hopefully they clean things up.
i dont even care. they will figure it out. as long as CJ is the constant everything else has potential to be cleaned up.
We're the worst 3-1 team in the league, but it could be worse..... ....WE COULD BE THE STANKY ASS, 0-4, DUVAL COUNTY JAGS!!!!
I normally hate doing this…. But Jags did more to lose than Texans did to win. If you’re going to go for it on 4th and goal when you don’t need to, the least you can do is maybe not run a play that everybody and their mom and the D-crew announcing team can see from a mile away. If your relying on your defense to win the game (which they had been at that point with no points allowed), maybe you make a little effort to run clock under 4 minutes, or just give your defense more of a rest, rather than 2 quick passes and a 3 and out. They also had the defense well game-planned for and at least 2 wide open passes that could have gone for TD’s missed by Lawrence. (Texans also had the muffed punt and CJ missed Collins once… and all the penalties). In the end, a win but Jags covering sounds about right…
Always happy for a win....but far from excited. A team can evolve over the course of a season, and this team will need to because we aren't close to being an actual contender right now. This is a weak schedule 3-1, not great football.
