For all the Jags problems the last few years, more of them are on Lawrence than most would like to admit.

 

All the talk about him being a quasi-nickel corner and playing inside on RB/TE's, which he is perfectly suited for, has totally gone by the wayside once the season started.

 

Having 3 rings before you turn 30 gives you the benefit of the doubt.

 

It’s all about the foundation/process that was set. It literally led to a downstream sequence of events that still impacted today’s game until the Patriots run finally ended.

It is a results oriented business…. But saying he was a “bad coach” or bad assessor of talent back then is completely short-sighted…. And this has been repeated over and over again when looking back on those teams.
