This is intended as a companion to pugsly8422's thread. Are there dumb things you did, got away with, and never did confess to? (Well, until today when you told them to the bbs.) Time to get them off our chests.

Please, no serious criminal behavior or stuff you ought to be in jail for... I don't want to know about it. Just dumb little things/ kid things. Like damage you caused but never intended to, and nobody figured out it was you.

In my case, there was the hole I accidentally kicked in the cheap cardboard wall of a motel room in Orlando when I was 12. We made it look like it wasn't there...

and then there was the pencil lead I got stuck in the lock of a classroom door when I was 11. They had to go get the locksmith. Lied at the time that I didn't know who did it (bad Isabel - young and going through a rough time, but there was still no excuse for it :( ). No one snitched on me.

When I was 9 years old I took my 2 year old sister for a ride on my bike and I went off a curb and she flew off and smacked onto the blacktop and messed up her face. I ran her into the house and told my mom she fell of a trailer. I didn't tell them what really happened until about 10 years later after feeling guilty when they would mention it.

Years and years ago I had a boss who was a real jerk.

I put some raw shrimp in the seat post of his office chair and some well hidden up under the dash of his car.

He tossed the chair out after a couple days and never did find the source of the smell in the car as far as I know.

Rule of thumb, If you are going to be a jerk to everyone in the office don't leave your keys laying around while you go to lunch with your wife.

A couple of sibbling fighting stories never told to my parents...

Once my older sister (4 years older) and I were fighting. I guess I was about 8. Anyway, there were some binoculars nearby - the old kind with a leather strap and a steal body. I grabbed the strap and swung them around and hit her in the head. She dropped like a sack of potatoes and didn't move for about 30 seconds. I thought I'd killed her. When she came to, she ran to tell mom but she only knew she'd been hit - She didn't know she was KOd. I never told. To this day that story still gives me shivers.

    Another time my older sister and oldest brother were fighting when my parents weren't home. My sister was throwing those old 16oz pepsi bottles at my brother. They were full and while she missed my brother, they hit the paneling wall and then the tile floor which of course caused them to shatter. I don't remember how many, but I do remember having to help clean up the mess since pepsi went EVERYWHERE. A couple of weeks later my mom looked at the ceiling and asked us what all those brown spots were. "hmmm. Good question" {oops - missed a spot.}

Sprinkled shredded paper on friend's hair in classroom, the teacher asked him, infront of the whole class, if he had dandruff. I could have been beat up for that one.

The coach asked me if he should kick Mr. X off the basketball team for what he did ( He left the bench and went into the stands to make point about PTime in playoffs). I said yes. So coach kicked him off the team. Then he calls me up and asked me if I had anything to do with his getting kicked. I said hell no.

I volunteered at the Hospital Gift shop, I borrowed 2 candy bars each night that I worked.

Had a copy of the exam for my MicroBiology test. Scored a 98. Class average was 65.

Worked the seafood department, usually scarfed on shrimp and lobster all night. Good stuff.

Often lied about baseball card value when making significant baseball card trades.

One time gave kid a forged Kenny Smith autograph so that he would be happy.

I've had a lot more sex than, oh wait, we are all dudes in here. I'm still a stud and don't forget it.

My senior year in high school I helped out the Librarian for a period because of not having a full schedule and not being allowed to roam. Anyway, there was a rack of donated books in the office that weren't going to be put out anytime soon, and I doubted anyone in the school had any interest in them anyway because they were fantasy books set in a D&D'ish world. Anyway, I had a zip up notebook, so about once a week I snuck one back home with me and kept it. I finally got around to asking if I could have one or two of the books, and she said yes, which made me feel really bad for not asking in the first place.

Wait, the thread title was never confessed, but I just did, so do I need to post this in the other thread now?

I worked as a waiter at the Shamrock Hilton. You could not take anything, including trash, out of the building without permission. One night they had a liver special (really) - and shock of all shock, they had a ton of it left over. I packed up a bunch to give to my dog and dutiefully asked my boss for a red tag. He said the tag was to much paperwork, just wrap in in a couple of table cloths and throw it over the fence. Well I did, and I still have one of the table cloths.

Being green and white - and old - I use it as a skirt for the Christmas tree. Puts me in the holiday mood every year.

I wouldn't know this guy would I? I think we shared a boss who I remember as a jerk. Of course, it was also my first job, so any boss was going to be a jerk. :)

I've learned some bad things about myself tonight. There are many things I should confess for and ask forgiveness from those I've hurt. I'm a selfish b*stard, but hopefully I'm not finding out too late. :(

Once, when asked if I had done bad things and never confessed them, I replied that I had not.
