the Jane’s addiction blowup got me to put on RHCP one hot minute for the first time since the 90s and I must say I forgot how solid that album is. Some really good songs on there and you can hear how much dave being in the band evolved their sound and how much input he must have had on the songwriting and arrangements. And Anthonys singing and lyrics are not as obnoxious as I thought i remembered. Without revising their other stuff I’m going to say this is their most listenable album. it’s a shame that fruciantes ego prevents them from playing songs like this live.
By the way is one of my all time favorite albums. One of the only albums I can listen and enjoy every single song.
