Amen Thompson - Point [Forward or Guard?]

I swear that's what I was thinking while watching that. This guy took a blurb/sentence and produced an entire video filled with random talk from last year about it. I was hoping he'd have more info on the "transformation", but oh well. I stopped the video after I saw it wasn't much more than clickbait. Hopefully I didn't miss anything, but it sounds like I didn't.

 

That's 90% of sports content on social media and YouTube especially during the off-season.

There just isn't much more people can say that isn't repeated this deep into the off-season with no new data or games to analyze.

 

Those YouTube hype videos made by amateurs are not a good indicator of anything. Season can't start fast enough

And yeah the locked on rockets guy is an amateur

All I know is Amen stood out to Ime and that's the only thing that carries weight

 

Eventually people stop watching it and they go away. Same thing with pretend insiders on Twitter. People used to give them the time of day but most are just ignored now.

 

Who is a professional in the media if the locked on rockets guy is amateur? It’s not as if we are discussing neuro science or astrophysics here.

 

lol. Yeah, Jackson is a good dude. He's not trying to come off as much more than a nutty fan who happens to be able to carry a show for half-an-hour to an hour. And it ain't easy trying to talk about nothing going on in the summer for an hour. lol. You can tell he's got some kind of broadcast background.

 

At least we can dream about Amen hitting pullup and turnaround midrange jumpers.

All I know is Amen is nasty in 2k25 this year when driving to the paint

I like putting Amen at the 1 and FVV at the 2. Opposing point guards get locked up immediately by Amen

I was thinking the same thing when I watched that video ..... maybe you play him at with Jabari as your forwards.

Best defensive duo in the NBA...

 

I didn't know that Amen clicked 2.97 in the 3 quarter court. He's top 10 in NBA history and probably the fastest player in the league currently. I really hope they turn he and Tari loose this year. If Jabari can step up defensively, we should have could have the best perimeter defense in the league.

 

When I chatted with Andre Iguodala, I asked him about Amen also.

Literally all he knew about him was that his brother in Detroit had a blood clot.

I hope Amen makes a name for himself this year!
