That Mark Robinson Story must not be getting too much play on Fox News et al, methinks ... or ... maybe Trump's very very very large brain has master the art of tuning out Fox News if they are not talking Trump and only Trump.

This war will never end with a total defeat of Russia - it's simply unrealistic to hope for that. Some kind of deal will have to be made.

I detest Putin, but pragmatically speaking, Trump is right, it will need a deal to stop endless killing.

I have some Ukrainian friends from my MBA, and I also know a Ukrainian from the Donbas. She views herself as Russian. She says that the majority of her friends view it the same way. She was very careful in talking about this with me, but she lives in the US and has no reason to fear anything and flat out said that this conflict is much more complex than it is described in Western media.

To me, it is still 100 % clear that Putin is the aggressor here and a horrible murderer.

But at some point, one has to go by ethics of responsible actions and not the ethics of who is theoretically in the right.

I feel with the Ukrainian people and with Zelensky. I have spoken to Wladimir Klitschko and his team. It's awful. I wish they could just flat out win this war. But Russia has nukes. And many many more soldiers and also innocent civilians will die if no deal is made.

The depths these sad men go to defend supporting Trump as a leader of this country can trust is pathetic. He's a National Security risk. He is too messed up in his head to know the difference between right and wrong, is far too weak to turn down bribes for his own personal gains, and yet they call him a leader.

Leader of what? A brainwashed cult too blind to see that he's nothing but a con, and too stupid to even know he lies to them every time he speaks? He sure isn't a man who would all of a sudden after almost 80 years become a completely different person, who can be trusted. He isn't going to magically have that brain in cognitive decline heal itself and transform into one 20 years younger, or into one with ethics, morals, and decency molded into it. There's a reason why hundreds of Republicans, National Security leader, and mental health experts say he is unfit to serve.

Let me ask you a serious question, how do you think this conflict can realistically end?

I am nowhere near qualified to answer that question.

These conspiracy theorists and right wing nutjobs associated with Trump, Vance and the MAGA party fit right in with the altered state of reality they want their followers to believe. They can't be taken seriously or trusted. We've seen the brainwashed MAGA folks first hand on this forum sharing crap that has been debunked as false over and over again.

Yes it is what leadership looks like. Zelenaky is showing excellent leadership by standing next to Trump. He knows he has to or else Trump will have his sycophants in Congress try and block even more stuff.

How do you think the conflict can realistically end? Do you think Ukraine can liberate all territories Russia invaded?

Easy. A cease fire with a remilitarized zone.

Trump has a new bestie. And we all know Trumps besties are scam artist, criminals or scum bags who eventually end up in jail. He is still behind Harris tho. She still has Putin and Dick Cheney. Lindsey gram is on the fence. He has respect for that middle class african american who worked her way up from the bottom.

Russia pulling out of all territory pre-invasion.

Russia paying reparations to Ukraine and maybe others.

Certain Russian field and executive commanders being tried for War Crimes and imprisoned if not hung
    ...

And for that you scumbags get that maybe Ukraine joins NATO or not, in a decade or so

    I said realistically.

Would I wish that would all happen?

    Yes.

Do you live in fantasy land?

    Yes.

Something like that or close to that is probably attainable. It require the right moves and support by those allied with Ukraine.

Someone who can't even say they want Ukraine to win or stand up to Putin certainly can't get that done.

Of course it's not attainable unless:

Pullback of Russian forces to an agreed armistice line before the aggression.

Then let's start with massive reparations to Ukraine from Russia (how anyone regulates this is ???). It will be billions.

Then go to No.3, whatever that is.
