Nah bruh, hold the crayons for yourself as clearly I'm already coloring your mind with my superior opinions. I'll take the juice and chicken fingers though, cooked throughout without any risk of salmonella or e.coli.
I appreciate that. It’s still in business, but I haven’t been back since I left. I’m pretty sure they’re using the same recipes.
Interesting. I have been to Tre before and thought it was pretty good. You did a good job on your lunch menu, it is very hard for sit down restaurants to compete at lunch and provide quality food that is reasonably priced - and you did that well. The prices did not matter to me, but I liked that you had it affordable enough that many people could go there at lunch, have a good meal and time and not feel like they ruined their finances. I believe I had the ribeye and vegetables as a side and it was cooked perfectly. I don't know if I have been to Pit Masters, if I did - it was about 20 years ago, and I remember it being more of a blue collar/middle class place that had solid BBQ and good sides.
thanks for the feedback. Would love to see you again and let the hostess know you are Nook. I took over Southern Tre in 2019 and we have upgraded the menu significantly this year. PITMASTER definitely was a blue collar restaurant. Our Brisket was pretty mediocre, but the St. Louis ribs are the best I ever had and I grew up in Memphis. We are opening Whiskey alley saloon next to Southern Tre next month.
I respect people who want to eat out and they like the taste of steak well done without being an elitist ******* about it. Or, if they have concerns about food handling. I've seen the inside of restaurants and the quality of their workers, all it takes is one time. Either reason is fine for me not to ridicule others on their tastes. Now, A1 sauce is a travesty no matter what though.
I really don't want to interrupt a good steak conversation, but with the reports of a fully healthy Adams in good shape, the Rockets are absolutely stacked at center. It's insane that some were advocating for the Rockets to draft that position.
Back to the subject at hand though, gatekeeping steak is for fascists. Eat it how you like it and don't worry about the next guy
Oh don't get me wrong, I could not care less how you like your steak, no matter how wrong it is. I'll also add: it's funny you're so concerned about "handling" and whatnot, yet when you order a steak well-done you're pretty much guaranteeing that you'll get the oldest piece of meat in the walk-in that's not quite at the point of getting tossed, because there's no way you can tell the difference.
Interesting, lots of replies for a "I don't care what you think" series of posts . Always found it ironic how actions contradict words. Now, if that's the kind of restaurant you would run towards customers ordering food a way you personally dislike to purposefully give them the oldest piece of steak, well, not surprised you would be the kind of person with that sort of ethics. That being said, your words demonstrate you clearly do care about how the steak is ordered, no matter how wrong it is .
Now, what's wrong with chicken nuggets? Steak can only be good if it's dripping blood fresh from the slaughterhouse, and now there is something wrong with chicken nuggets? Do you all just hate meat? Man, talk about close minded!
Couldn't agree more, I've helped derail this thread. My bad. Our center position might be the strongest in the entire team with a rotation of Sengun, Adams and Jock.
