I can say I enjoyed this division championship more than any other. I haven't been around here much lately. I was in the hospital for 28 days, had 2 surgeries including one very major surgery, and spent 9 days in ICU. I'm home now and have a several month recovery ahead of me. Another World Series would certainly make this suck less.

    Go Astros.

What we need to win it all…

    1.) A healthy Yordan
2). The Bullpen to stop sucking and become lockdown for a month.
3.) much better at bats with runners in scoring position
4.) most importantly our SP has to be dominant

The Detroit Tigers are 28-12 in their last 40 games.

    Skubal is a problem.

    Bring on the Royals please.

I get what you're saying and I don't disagree. But I don't honestly give a f*** about who we play. If we've learned anything since 2017....you don't bet against this team.

We wanted the Nationals in 2019... that didn't end well.

Anybody know the tiebreaker between Detroit and KC?

They were 5-5 during the season.

The MLB wildcard standings imply the Tigers have it. The MLB current postseason bracket graphic as it stands now shows us playing Detroit.

We owe the Royals for 2015.

Well if you bet against them in 2019, you probably made a lot of money. Last year too probably.

This is the Astros 14th Division Title

    NL West: 1980, 1981, 1986

    NL Central: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001

    AL West: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024

This is the first time they’ve won 4 in a row, their previous bests being 3 in a row, which they’ve achieved 3 times. 97-99, 17-19, 21-23.

    The Astros have won more

NL West Titles than the: Rockies

NL Central Titles than the: Reds, Pirates

AL West Titles than the: Royals, Twins, Mariners, White Sox

The Astros have tied the Texas Rangers in AL West Titles, the Astros having gotten 7 titles in 12 years compared to the Rangers getting 7 titles in 53 Years.

They are now 2 Division Title wins behind the Angels for 2nd in the AL West

The Astros have won more AL West Titles than not since 2013

    Won Division: (7) 17-19, 21-24

    Lost Division: (5): 13-16, 20

The Astros have now won as many division titles in the AL as they did in the NL

AL Astros: 7 Division Titles in 12 Years

NL Astros: 7 Division Titles in 51 Years

If the Astros play in 9 Postseason games this year, and the Mariners don't make the post season, they will tie the combined playoff games all time of the Angels/Mariners/Rangers at 168 Playoff games.

ATM: Astros 159 All Time playoff games. 8th all time, best expansion team by 67 games.

LAA/SEA/TEX: 168 All time playoff games.
