The pager operation was ingenious - it managed to target thousands of confirmed terrorists through a device provided to them by their organization and kill/wound/incapacitate them with limited civilian deaths/injuries. Amazing people still complain about it. You could hardly perform a cleaner operation in terms of targeting and collateral damage.

It's very telling you consider this a "gotcha" question rather than a question that incorporates empathy(the ability to translate what happens to another group of humans to your own group) It shows a fundamental lack of basic empathy skills on your part by nerely brushing off a question like this as a "gotcha" question. Again, you simply don't have to reply to the person stating the obvious that you aren't legally binded to reply. Everyone knows you have a right to not reply and every one has a right to believe you are lack empathy skills. The fact you didn't have to express you have a right to not answer tells me you are triggered by that question because someone is asking you to incorporate empathy.
Then prove it aren't by not being offended when someone asks you a basic question that incorporates empathy. Prove it by not perceiving a very reasonable question that incorporates empathy as a "gotcha" question. It isn't a gotcha question. It's a very reasonable thing to ask.
Prove you aren't offended by utilizing empathy. Apply what happened in Lebanon to hypnotically happening amongst American civilians where 5000 explosive devices were decimated throughout a civilian population of American citizens to target some bad people with no ability to control for the devices detonating in places like schools, civilian offices, parks, private homes etc. Show you aren't offended by applying basic empathy skills. Show to us you don't melt down and lash out when someone asks you to apply empathy skills.
I simply refused to engage in a hypothetical presented to me. There are a limitless amount of hypotheticals someone could construct and demand I answer. I’m under no obligation. I expressed my opinion about the actual operation and what actually occurred and I thought it was wonderful in modern warfare so many terrorists were able to be attacked in such a pinpoint way.
