I didn't like sentry as he's an OP bipolar hot mess that lobotomized the comics with lazy writing, But maybe they use him to replace Captain Marvel...some unpleasant enema of my enemy bs that shouldn't be necessary for escapist entertainment.
The idea of Sentry and his alter ego Void is very cool, especially being retconned into the Silver Age comics as one of the core early Marvel superheroes, but then The Void arrived, killed a million people, and the early superheroes teamed up to make everyone forgot him. As you said, he could be the MCU Superman with a very, very dark side.
1st time seeing this, and it has me interested makes sense with what occurred in BP2 as well, but they’d have to make Wakanda’s tiny army putting up a fight or even winning believable
actually looks awesome. Guessing Sentry (or a faux version) is the baddy of this one? This multiverse saga has been a chore to follow, but i throughly enjoyed Hawkeye, Shang chi and Loki.
I'm actually excited based on that trailer. I'm down on Marvel right now...but the anti-hero approach is definitely something that interests me.
I can't help think how Dis did Scarlett dirty with budget Black Widow. Similar traumas, different actor. Then they show her taking on the Budget Avengers. I also hated reading Sentry who was a budget S.... Anyhow, the trailer looked decent, and maybe the movie will too.
