Honeymoon may be over for Demeco and his staff. High expectations coming into this year. They looked outclassed in every way against a team they were favored against on the road.
CJ limping, Noy a good sign. They got beat in every aspect even our kicking sucked. Tunsil. Geesh. Our secondary is something to be desired. We are still in first place Hope they see the weaknesses that were exposed MB
I'm glad I kept my expectations in check. Stroud is in year 2 and has a lot to prove. He isn't Brady or Mahomes.
Benching Tunsil would've been the only positive thing Demeco could do but no messages sent. For the first time I'm questioning him as a coach.
Boy! You said a MOUTHFULL! I've sat through a many of these from the Oilers. Let down, time and time again! Anytime they would play against a good team on the road.....it was an ASS WHIPPING
The off season hype about this team was over the top. Never really seen anything like it. The first two games were against "not very good" teams and the Texans struggled, barely eking out wins in both. I was apprehensive about this one. Back to reality. They snuck up on the league last year. Teams now have a lot of film to study and they are developing schemes to attack the Texan's weaknesses and strengths. Everyone especially the coaches are going to have to take up their game to higher level.
The offense hasn't been as productive as we thought. Not as productive in the Red Zone, same ole offensive line and no true running. The DBs are giving yds, they keep playing zone. Seen it before.....SAME OLE TEXANS. Come on Rockets!!
I was just about to post this, DeMeco and staff got owned....no adjustments to how the Vikings were playing and CJ held the ball too damned long. Just not ready...and too many stupid mistakes. DD
If this was college you could maybe do that. No way you bench a healthy Tunsil for a rookie. Then you'd have to redshirt Stroud and punt on the season
