I can't guarantee the Astros will win the World Series.

The Astros will likely be favored to win every postseason game Framber and Brown start until the World Series. Even then, there's a greater than 50% chance the NL team in the World Series doesn't have a better starter than Framber and Brown if the Astros make it that far. Framber and Brown will likely start the majority of games in a series (i.e., odds are great the Astros will be favored in the majority of games every series they play).

Who is third pitcher? It should be Kakuchi.

My guess would be Kikuchi. This may be making too much of a small sample, but unless he starts opposite a healthy Gerrit Cole, I think the Astros will likely have an advantage until the World Series (if the Astros make it) when Kikuchi pitches.

Shoulld've gotten a bat at the deadline.

Look how good the offense looked when Gamel was hot.

If Chas and Gamel hadn't gotten hurt.

But the offense and fielding from other teams can outgun us.

Did they get dominated, though? That was a close game almost the entire time.

After seeing the rockets new city editions I’m scared to see the new Astros one.

Bregman is already in the 25-5 club. Been there and done that.

Looks like Verlander will not be in the post season starting rotation. Will he be in the bullpen?

    Probably not.

Wouldn’t have much value trying to force him to do something he’s never done before… in the highest of stakes or the shortest of series.

If they advance, could be further considered for a series where they may need more than 3 starters.

They’ll take King over Ferguson. They’ll probably take both Ferguson and King over Scott.

If Verlander is able to make his final start of the season, he’s going to be on the playoff roster. He will be a stretched out option to come in if one of the 4 starters gets pulled early.

    SP: Framber, Brown, Kikuchi, Arrighetti
RP: Hader, Pressly, Abreu, Neris, Blanco, Ort, Ferguson, Scott, Verlander

Only question there is if King makes it over Ort or Scott.

I think the only challenge I have is whether King or Ferguson are the 12th guy/token lefty.

I like King better and he has been better, but he is a rookie and Ferguson does have a little experience (5.1 IP w/ 0 runs or hits and 2 BB spread over 3 playoff series)

Which probably doesn't matter much as if he pitches in the WC round then either something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.

I can't wait for it to be the exact same design as the Rockets jersey but orange and a different font
