Please don't. That song sucked and so did the Oilers for most of their existence. Hell, the Dolphins have the same song. I would really like Columbia blue to make a comeback though. That's the only thing I want back from the Oiler days.

Urbanization is a very divisive concept like good and evil.

They're marketing to people who are there to be seen and wouldn't know the difference between futbol and football. They're there to drink and be seen. They aren't marketing to fans like the OP.

I'm glad that after 21 years I gave up my season tickets. I'll still go to a few games, but I realize what's happening down on Kirby. They stopped marketing to life long football fans like me a decade ago.

Plus with the NFL changing the rules of the game and Goodell deciding to monetize the NFL in all the ways he possibly can, I just decided that I'm out.

Then you've got the wholeness of Kap etc... I'm sure I won't be missed and I could really care less.

The OP here was a joke aimed at people who cannot imagine a world where there exist “lifelong football fans” who don’t agree with their particular taste in music or marketing.

It is explicitly referencing an old post by a Rockets fan whose similarly conflates “being a fan” with “looks like me and shares my experiences”, concluding that any other fan who enjoys hip hop or can speak Spanish must be there “just to be seen” and clearly must not know anything about football because they are too dumb to know it isn’t futbol.

Ironic that its national impact began during that MNF game against...the Miami Dolphins.

Houston is one of the very few places in America that has a ton of culture

The Fortune 500 Giant with some of the nicest neighborhoods in America crowd needs to have an elite Club Level and Suites
The Redneck Culture needs to feel connected
    The Mexican Culture
    The Houston Rap Culture

They are trying to check a ton of boxes for sure

They should have just given us the song that night. Right after Earl's run.
