I agree with this 100%. This team to me is just too inconsistent. Doesn't node well for a patented deep postseason run. Hopefully by the end of the year, Tucker won't be such a p***y either. We need him out there.
I hate to agree but I do. He’ll get hot for a couple of games, have a couple multi homer games, and then when it’s nut crunching time he’s not really there. I’m just hoping the switch flips in the postseason.
Are the Astros really any less consistent than last year? They will finish with ~2 fewer wins, while having twice as many injuries. If Dusto didn't sabotage the season, we'd be talking about a 3-peat.
Another ALCS will extend the streak. Astros just need to avoid another squad whose entire team sold their soul for one aberated season.
I disagree. The Astros are capable of winning it all this season. They're also capable to get swept in the wild card round.
But in patented 3-2 series leading fashion, we choked it away again. Just like in 2019. Hence, don't want lol.
