Landry Locker doesn’t seem to think Christian Harris will be back this season. He has media credentials so he has seen the players up close in practice.

Peterson is burnt toast at this point. Maybe Steven Nelson will have a change of heart and comeback

Two weeks into the season, the offense looks like they're still trying to find themselves a bit. Definitely a ton of room for improvement but I also attribute it to the level of defenses the Texans are playing as well. Lots of top tier defenses the rest of the season so let's hope the offense figures it out and the O-line figures out a way to pass protect better.

Frank Ross (ST coach) is one of the best in the biz. He'll get him straightened out. No doubt he was awful in the 2 games though.

Dang, I didn't realize Minny's defense was doing that well. I keep waiting for the Texans to play a mediocre defense so their offense can really start showing out like we know they can. Looks like it might be a tough fought game this Sunday.

I miss Cashman. He has become a difference maker over there in the middle.

I think Ca$hman gets Coleridge's first int. If he doesn't, it will be New England.

I agree, the Texans hardly look like a polished, finished product ready for all comers. On the other hand I don't think you can declare a "sophomore slump" yet. The league has definitely "figured them out somewhat." Last year, the Texans caught a lot of folks by surprise. Jacksonville was certainly surprised when they got bombed in their own stadium. IMO, the Texans are a work in progress with a few missing pieces. The offensive line never seems to get really fixed. A lot of reason for optimism long range. Ugly wins are still wins.

If Christian Harris and Denico Autry both return and are healthy and productive for the second half of the season, Texans defense has a chance to be top 5, which would automatically make them a Super Bowl contender.

I believe the offense will be a work in progress for a while. Some things need to shake out between CJ and the WRs (besides Nico). They also need to establish how much of a running team they will be. At some point, Slowick has to stop creating 2nd and 9 situations so often by predictably running the ball on 1st down. I don't see any big problems with CJ. He makes good decisions and takes what the defense gives. Tank has to figure things out soon. I'm confident the O-line will be better than last year; how much is the question. I really like Stover.

Fairbairn is a boss! The punter scares me.

I think the Texans will win 10-12 games and take the division. They have a legit chance for best AFC record but I'm not counting on it.
