Justin Verlander is in Spring Training Mode. He is quite behind and needs to catch-up playing MLB Level, instead of Sugarland Skeeters AAA.
No team is perfect. Dodgers have MLB's best record, yet have 3 players in their lineup with a 600 OPS. Most of the Astros problems this season have been injury-related and some unfortunate luck. Jabreu probably costed us 3 games by himself, but he's been replaced by a viable option (for this season at least). Astros still have a somewhat comfortable lead for the division. JV won't be needed in the playoffs and the Astros have plenty of talent and experience to perform when it matters.

JV has been beyond ineffective, he has been non-competitive his last couple of starts. Just a competitive start and we could've had a shot last night. These games being done by the 2nd inning are just killer.
