Yup, and this time they aren't even saying we have to tone down the rhetoric like they did last time, it's a more "well what do you expect?" attitude. The party of sanctimony and moral superiority are the most vile.
Yes, of course not all of them, and not all its supporters, but within that party and its followers, it seems to have become much more socially acceptable to drop the mask and just openly welcome violence, as long as it is against the "right people" (like Trump).
What rhetoric needs to do be toned down? Trump is a threat to Democracy. Trump is a bigot. Trump appointed judges that caused women to lose a right they had held for decades. The change in abortion laws has impacted women's Healthcare. Pointing those things out isn't advocating violence.
You two keep having your Trump circle jerk. Sane people realize the TRUMP VOTER, who is the attempted assasin is more than likely impacted by Trump's rhetoric than someone from the left. Keep simping.
Harris/Walz and the machine behind them are a much greater threat to free speech than Trump ever was or will be. They were also much happier to go full authoritarian during Covid. And Dems are trying to weaponize the justice system a lot more than even Trump ever did.
You don't sound "sane". You might feel like you are representing some kind of majority with your rants here in the D&D echo chamber, but in the country/the world...probably not.
They haven't weponized the justice system and certainly not more than Trump. Trump committed actual felonies. He was held accountable that isn't the result of weponized justice system. Trump weponized it during is first term is making explicit campaign promises to weaponize it even more if re-elected. Not only that Trump advocated for military tribunals to after political enemies.
BTW - there were no shots fired by the would be assassin in this scenario - Trump and his other ear were completely safe. DD
I spewed no false claims. So you object to calling out Trump on his actual actions and call that dangerous rhetoric. That kind of makes complaints of the Democratic Party rhetoric fall flat.
The irony is rich! in the last 2 months, 2 American white men, have attempted to assassinate Trump; one was shot to death, the other arrested. this one was arrested this United States Attorney for South Florida will be prosecuting Ryan Routh, Markenzy Lapointe immigrated to the US at age 16 penniless.
