Azeez Al Shaair... This performance was elite tonight.

He adds a physicality to our defense that we lacked last year.

    Pro Bowl level player.

Ugly wins still count. That was a legit defense last night. Made getting into rhythm hard. Run game nonexistent. Akers cant fumble inside the 10 yard line like that - brutal. Still if the offense is going to be CJ to Nico all game I have faith its enough lol. Its really an unstoppable connection they have. On defense I thought Henry was the star. Aziz obviously is the leader and he gets the troops in position, but To'o'To'o was all over the place. I have some concerns about the trenches, but its too early to call them weaknesses everything is still falling into place. Keep getting better each week!

They should be able to pay Stingley.
They will probably have to let Diggs walk.

When Stroud comes due they will probably have to let Tunsil walk. It's just the way the NFL works.

Wouldn’t that have been like 60+? Or just assuming tank wouldn’t keep his feet

I believe the Hoodie said you pay, no questions asked, an Elite CB (bc they eliminate half the field), an elite pass rusher and an elite QB. Everyt other position can be replaced. Hence why they paid big money to keep Ty Law, Richard Seymour and Brady during their first three Superbowls.

There is so much headroom for this offense to get better. Tank, Diggs and TEs haven't really been involved that much so far. And Stroud is usually good at distributing the ball pretty evenly amongst his weapons.

It seems like Stroud Dell connection needs a few games to warm back up. But it's crazy that Stroud has a passer rating of over 100, team is 2-0 and I still feel like this offense has been running on eco mode so far.

This just feels like the best roster the Texans franchise has ever assembled.

This is what I'm seeing as well.

This team is two or three plays (bad bounces, brainfarts, and ref whistles) from looking absolutely elite.

Nobody is perfect, but the foundation of the house is solid.

All we have to do is slap on a coat of paint and cut the lawn and we're sitting pretty.

Its alright, teams have enough footage of CJ and are preparing for him differently than last year. He's just gonna adjust, he'll be fine.

That wasn't tape. That was an elite defense doing elite defense things. The Bears D is scary.

True but even in the first game. It'll take few weeks for him to adjust to it.

Sloppy game but you have to win those if you want to be elite.

You generally can pay 5 guys close to top money.

Who would be your 5 guys?

I'll take the W obviously, but the lack of discipline and composure from this team last night was shocking. 3 penalties that had nothing to do with the play swung this game big time. Plus the Tank Dell drop and Akers goal line fumble... this game shouldn't have been nearly as close. Got lucky tonight.

    CJ
    WA
    Stingley
    Nico

I’m ok with loosing Tunsil. Honestly, CJ is such an elite pocket passer and so good at maneuvering in the pocket that I would go with paying for an all pro center if we had one.
