Tua needs to retire, for his own health.

They’re probably on the phone with Ryan Tannehill as we speak.

There’s a reason why QBs slide, I can’t believe he ran like that head first.
Out of all people he ran into Damar Hamlin.

Can't believe they gave tua all that money. Guy shouldn't be playing for his own sake.

Tua should have been wearing the guardians cap. It may not have made a difference, but any player that has a history with concussion should be wearing one. Personally, I think all the players should be required to wear the cap. It looks funny, but we would all get used to it.

I do think guardian caps are a step in the right direction but I'm not sure it would have helped Tua in that situation. I think he may be uniquely vulnerable to he trauma.

I don’t think Tua took a direct hit to the helmet on this particular play, so the guardian cap probably wouldn’t have made a difference. But, considering his history with concussions, I don’t know why he wouldn’t want to wear one. We’ve seen on many occasions where a QB hits his head on the turf and gets a concussion. That’s where the guardian cap could really help. I wish CJ would wear the cap.

I'm hoping there will be gradual acceptance of the guardian cap by players going forward. It's not the cool thing right now; maybe that changes.

I didn't realize they could wear those in a game, they do look weird, and I have a feeling they just don't look "cool" enough for the players but thats just a guess

IMO Tua wasn't worth what he got paid but that's the market, and now the Fish are stuck..................I personally wish the young man would retire, you got paid so take the money and go home to Hawaii and live the good life. Some dudes are more susceptible to these types of injuries, and I think his kryptonite is concussions

I'm also hopeful they'll improve it (which is inevitable with new technology/materials) and make it more acceptable to players. You know there's a definite appearance/pride factor involved.

I guess we here in Houston are getting Cowboys vs Saints and Jets vs Tenn at noon. Cinn vs KC in the afternoon.

I wanna see Mayo and Dallas implode for my amusement, so I’ll switch between both. Hopefully Cinn can make it a real game against KC. Like seeing Burrows vs Mahomes duels.

    This is the way.

Although I don't really care who loses the Jet/Tit game

The guardian cap itself looks fine. Think they should just print the logo on the cap though rather than wrap it. It would likely look better.
