Wasn't Scott one of our best relievers for about 6 months? Now he sucks, I get it. Crazy how that works.
I'm always a bit confused by the blocking of the plate rule. The replay shows Caratini has his left leg right on the 3rd base line before he receives the ball. In this case the runner isn't really that close to reaching home plate. He's just starting to slide into home. Is that making the difference here?
14 outings with an ERA of 4.90 is statistically significant. 6 months is an entire season, btw. This is more like 4 months. He's been mediocre since very early August. The thrill is gone. Maybe you can post one of your music videos you like to do in Tayler's honor. Thank goodness for Scott in those first 4 months. He helped get us into 1st place after that God awful start.
Oh I notice. What's your 2nd favorite Floyd song? You never saw them at Rice Stadium in a thundersrorm, didja?
Dotel was really fun to watch. Although he's a stark reminder of all those failings in the playoffs in the early 2000s with teams that were more than capable of winning it all. I'm glad Lidge had the renaissance with the Phillies and a World Series title to cap it off.
Saw them at RFK on shrooms, weed, and shrooms and I will never forget it. I do not rank Floyd songs. My favorite album is probably Animals if a gun is to my head.
Who is Dykstra? **** that guy. I bet that Dave Smith would be a great reliever. Maybe he and Doug Jones could have a bet on who could top 93 while striking out the most hitters out of 9
