Trump couldn't say that he wanted Ukraine to win. He couldn't say there was anything he did wrong on January 6th and again claimed the rioters were treated unfairly. Trump couldn't promise to veto a national abortion ban. Trump said that after 9 years he now has concepts of a plan for Healthcare. Trump didn't know the name of the Taliban leader. Harris was able to manipulate him and bait him, easily. Trump did try to point out that Harris was extreme. But he did it by lying about Abortions being executed after being born and Haitians eating people's cats and dogs. Those lies only make one person look extreme and it wasn't Harris.
Since we see the same defenses of Trump that he exposed Harris’ extremism many said the same thing about Trump after the 2020 debates that Trump had exposed Biden’s extremism. Trump also aid then that there will be WWIII and that we would have a depression unlike anything we have seen. Instead unemployment is lower and the stock market higher than even before COVID while we do have conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East we haven’t had a World War. Also for world leaders laughing at the US.
It's not December 24th, either. Chances are likely that it's not the Haitians, if it's even happening. Just like that video that was posted.
Neither matter mich. The urban taylor swift voters were always going with kamala. The rural ones with Trump. Most probably aren't even old enough to vote.
This game is not being decided by the refs. He’s processing her attacks like an NFL defense that doesn’t understand how play action works. He’s falling head first into every trap Kamala is setting. She’s just better than him at this.
Many Taylor Swift fans probably aren’t very political and might not have considered voting. Her endorsement raises awareness of the election and in a close race like this even a marginal bump in young voters could make a Big difference.
Listening to Doug Burgum governor of ND spin the debate. When asked about immigrants eating pets he said that he hadn’t even heard of Springfield, OH until yesterday.
Yes. So much this. Also, judging by Swift tickets, her fans have money to spend and might help Harris donations as well.
Simple question to the leftists on the board: Did you think the moderators were neutral? Yes or no. An honest answer would be appreciated.
Actually there is a program, with many details. And it has been laid out. It's called the "Downpayment Toward Equity Act" Before you make claims or posts, I suggest you do your homework so you don't come across as ignorant.
Surprising Debate Fact: Trump negotiated the Afghan Withdrawal with a dude name Abdul, who is not the leader of the Taliban. Show of hands. Who is surprised that the withdrawal went to complete ****. Word on The Street is that Abdul knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy who knew ... Hibatullah Akhundzada. So there is that.
Just my Quick 2 Cents on how the Swift endorsement and the debate affect the race: Trump's range is narrow. He doesn’t have much upside or downside. He is a known quantity. Trump reminded everyone of who he is last night (actually worse than who he was). He didn't do anything to attract new voters; his main goal was to define Harris as an extremist, but that backfired. He’s likely to lose some support within his own range because of this. On the flip side, Harris is a relatively unknown figure and has much more room for movement, both up and down. Her main goal was for people to get to know her and feel comfortable with her, and she largely accomplished that. She also attempted to attract new voters (at one point, she directly spoke to Republicans who are uncomfortable with Trump’s January 6 actions). I think she was also somewhat effective in presenting herself as a candidate of change (flip the page), contrasting with Trump’s image as a stale, old incumbent (not going back). While there may still be some hesitation, she seems to have cleared that hurdle, so there’s potential for a significant upswing in support. Swift's endorsement—she has close to 300 million followers. Her statement was class A+++ smart for her (and ended with a bit of trolling). The potential for movement is huge due to her audience, who are typically less engaged and don’t vote. There’s significant potential, but it might not translate into much if they don’t show up to vote. The Harris campaign would be wise to quickly get these folks registered.
I think you misunderstand Taylor's core audience, I know because my wife is one of them. It's not teenagers its women in their 30s.
Weak. Excuses. Sad that you think Trump is any sort of leader other than a cult leader. A true leader puts others first.
