Again, both of them presented almost NOTHING in terms of concrete, substantiated plans. She rambled something about throwing some handouts at people who want to buy houses and get pregnant, that was about it. The intellectual depth of this "debate" is an embarrassment.
It’s the GOP playbook. Offer nothing in terms of plan or policy and instead fear monger and blame anyone else’s ideas for everything.

I wonder why the debates have trended towards candidates just trying to roast each other instead of talking about policy? I won't talk about Trump, but appeal to populism in general is going to be about stoking fear in the hearts of voters. The other side is EVIL, INCOMPETENT, CORRUPT. I would welcome a return to normalcy.
That wasn’t the point of the debate. It never was going to be an involved policy discussion because in none of Trump’s debates going back to 2015 has he had an involved policy discussion. This was about whether Harris could stand up to Trump’s attack.
The biggest Harris line in the debate was delivered by Trump. "I have a concept of a plan" The question was about how he has been working on 9 years on a Healthcare plan. Does he have one?
Kamala settled down and did well. Trump, on the other hand, imploded. He was ranting, lying and saying weird stuff. This was a landslide.

I'll be honest - I don't think Trump won this debate. He hasn't done himself any favours. She came prepared, baited him, got some soundbites out, threw some fake melodrama out there, etc. Pretty sure people will say she won this one. I liked all of Reagan, George Bush, Clinton, Obama, McCain, Gore, Mitt Romney better than either of these two. I also think all of them were more intellectually capable - and more respectful with each other.
Y’all expect detailed policy in 2 minute time allotments? Lol the average voter is dumb anyways debates have always been about vibes 1st, substance 2nd conservatives will desperately try to “both sides” Kamala and Trump, and will look like clowns doing so
Tim Walz could’ve actually been the guy. Vance might piss his pants on stage. They should make see through podiums so we can all catch it if he does.
It isn’t that place because we have a totally unhinged ex president who still believes he won the last election and that Haitians are running rampant in Springfield OH eating cats and dogs somehow still could be president again.
