Y’all know what’s funny? Jalen doubters and haters often look towards greener grass on the other side. Booker has often been mentioned as a player they hope Jalen become one day. These people often criticize Green for “poor defense” despite drastic improvement in year 3. Did these people forget Booker was a poor defender his first several years in the league? Booker was a scorer but not much else during those first several years but developed into a playmaker and competent defender. This maturation process took several years. Several. My how they forget. Speak for yourself, I am not even a Booker fan.....he has done really alright with little athleticism..... There are greener pastures but I am one of those that separates those two things..... But yeah if you want to become a contender, you look to others but make the Playoffs first. Meet the qualification criterion first and then we can talk.

You accused me of “labeling” I am assuming you are referring to “negative labeling” because there’s nothing wrong with positive or neutral labeling, which simply means to describe or designate something as in a label. You label yourself in your own mind of what you think of yourself as a person. I simply used the words “doubters” and “haters” to specifically describe a group of fans who have exhibited such sentiments on this site as evidenced by numerous posts either filled with hate or doubt on this player’s abilities. I simply described specifically what type of fans I’m speaking about who specifically doubt his defensive abilities without attacking anyone specifically. why doesnt he have an transition rank and percentile in the graphic? This should be a strength of his, and its been bugging me why its blank. @fchowd0311 you can chime in also if you have an answer. To me its encouraging to see his DHOs to be above average even if slightly. That matched my eye test. I assumed he was slightly above average at PnR ball-handling, but hes pretty middle. Thats ok and still a decent improvement. IMO what Jalen needs to improve with regards to frequency is transitions, cuts and DHOs. We seen more speed and transition the later the year went on, as we were really grind city the beginning of the year. I expect this to improve which would improve his efficiency. I would like to see less spotting up, ie more cutting. He is way to fast and can abuse lazy off-ball perimeter defense with this. Can learn from Amen who seemed to do this well. This would also improve his efficency. I want to see continued improvement in DHOs and PnR ball-handling. This should be his strong-suit and go to action moving forward. This being his current strongest playtype, it should improve his efficiency if he gets better also. Spot up attempts declining should limit his attempts per game and again increase his effiency not just as a play type but overall. If he didnt change and improve one thing, and just changed his shot diet (in correlation with the coaching staff because they play a huge part here) he would have been more efficient. This is why im an OPTIMIST and believe in Jalen, because if he actually improves his 3pt shot (his biggest weakness it seems) paired with a better shot diet, he becomes a very very good player and is by far the biggest ceiling raiser for this team. I'd rather be positive and excited for the season and our young players.
What if Green gets the nod but after 4-5 All Stars are injured? And Xtruroyaltyx is iffy about that. Does he get a discount and only pay 5 or 10? A combo discount for a combo poster.
