Strange path for a hurricane. Starts barely off the coast of Mexico and ends up in NOLA. I would guess the track moves even more east by tomorrow morning.
Been watching this system since it was in the Eastern Caribbean. Very similar path to Beryl, just not the massive buildup we saw.
lol, not like that. My whole home went out and I haven’t gotten it fixed because I have 2 portable, one 6500 and one 14000. Both carburetors I have to rebuild and a new petcock valve on one
Concerning that the intensification is earlier than anticipated. Another reason I don't trust these models.
Like I said, I don't trust the models. I am now padding what they say with some western angles as a grain of salt...but if it keeps creeping east, who knows. I think we will have a good idea tomorrow.
The only thing I know for sure if that if the winds get up to 15-20 mph gusts, there will be massive power outages in Kingwood. Frankly, I'm surprised my power is still on right now.
my understanding is that the more it intensifies, the more it will head East. Getting that from the Space City Weather guys
Take a close look at what I posted above and the model tracks from 6 hours later. They're creeping back west a tad.
lol. Fifty percent of the reason I come into these threads is to watch @Xerobull spaz out. "I don't trust those models! So, here.... more models!"
Well.... me, anyway. Question is.... do I drop my solar panels tomorrow, or hope it is a baby cane? I'm confident up to 65mph sustained maybe 95 gust. Any more than that, and I think things start to fail. Spent the day today cutting down dead trees that could come down on things.
