Reminds me of the "Greatest Draft Ever" Steelers 1974: Lynn Swann Jack Lambert John Stallworth Jimmy Allen, solid player, 110 games played x2 teams Mike Webster 4 of their first 5 picks are in the HOF, that's hard to ****ing do
I guess I'm just looking at it from the Texan's side. I can't imagine a trade working out better, but that is because of having a great GM in Houston and an immature QB now in Cleveland. It's hard to isolate the trade from the results which involve additional components. Like trading for Bagwell at the time or Alvarez at the time.
Yup it looks amazing for the texans because of stroud. If the texans drafted bryce and were still trash, and gave up a top 5 pick in the waj trade, it would look very different. Watson turning into a scrub is shocking to me though, never seen anything like it and no way to predict that happening. Delightful results for everyone involved I would say!
Regardless of whether they drafted Stroud, they would still be much worse off if Watson wasn't a pervert because he would still be the QB of the Texans. Watson is currently one of the worst QB's in the NFL.
Deshaun Watson is sued for sexual assault and battery Chris Simms on Deshaun Watson’s play: “The magic is gone”
He's done. Watson hasn't played well in a minute and looks like a lost Head Case. Its over for him. That Texans trade is going to rank just behind the Herschel Walker trade for the Great Robberies in NFL History. OL Kenyon Green WR John Metchie III LB Christian Harris DL Thomas Booker RB Dameon Pierce DE Will Anderson Jr. DB Calen Bullock WR Tank Dell DB Kamari Lassiter LB Jamal Hill TE Cade Stover
it still blows my mind what happened to him, he was a legit franchise qb who i fully expected to win an mvp, and now he's probably bottom 5 while in his physical prime
This sexual assault allegation is so bad that neither the NFL, the Browns, or Rusty Hardin have had a comment. Hardin generally is quick to respond.
It isn’t easy to assemble a top tier NFL defense. But Cleveland has one, and it is being wasted; they traded a ton of draft capital while also paying dearly for a washed out QB in Watson. Imagine seeing elite talent leaving because your Team is paying Watson $240 million dollars. Cleveland fans are realizing the conundrum of their team, and it must be dreadful. Since the Browns don’t owe Houston any more trade obligations, whether they win or lose, if they aren’t impacting the Texans, it really doesn’t matter much anymore.
He was always overrated and to think some said if he played for Reid he would've been as good as Mahomes. LMAO
Even if you think he wasn’t mahomes, which nobody is, he was in the next tier down. He’s in the burrow/herbert type level which is typically your 3rd-5th best qb in the league. An unquestionable superstar
Not IMHO, he's always been overrated. Uncomfortable truth BOB got the best out of Watson and that says everything.
