1. Western Gulf of Mexico (AL91): Showers and thunderstorms have increased this morning in association with a broad area of low pressure located over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico. This system is forecast to drift slowly northwestward during the next couple of days, and environmental conditions are expected to become conducive for additional development. A tropical depression is likely to form during the next couple of days as the system moves generally northwestward and then northward near or along the Gulf coast of Mexico and Texas through the middle of the week. An Air-Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is also scheduled to investigate the system later today. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.
Hoo boy. I will keep my yap shut in this thread from now on -- promise. Maybe my weather forecast posts have the same problem as my NFL posts.
Since I was little, ain't a ******* thang changed It’s the same old same Bush run **** like Saddam Hussein I **** and aim, clinically insane To deal with this bullshit day-to-day If I sell some yay or smoke some hay You b****es wanna throw me up in Pelican's Bay Call me an animal up in the system But who's the animal that built this prison? Who's the animal that invented lower-livin'? The projects, thank God for Russell Simmons Thank God for Sugarhill I'm putting a different kind of steel up to my grill
Hoping it keeps tracking that way and this little cool front we have pushes it that way. 3 of my generators are down currently and waiting on a new stub out for gas line
I think we will be fine as I am actually prepared this time so nothing bad will happen My neighbors and I were out getting our generators ready yesterday, now if I was unprepared like last time, it would hit us square on
This reminds me of Beryl in that every model run jogs further and further east. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up making landfall much closer to NOLA.
It always seems to move East in September Also usually when we start getting fronts its over for us in SE Texas
