Dude there’s a clip of his own OL tackling him today. It’s both funny and sad. If someone can find it post it plz do.

hurts, bryce young, kyler, baker mayfield.. and probably a few more im missing like minshew all being average in the nfl. has all but guarenteed that no qb 6'2 or shorter will go in the first round ever again. Watched caleb williams today and he looked more like kyler murray than a new mahomes 2.0

I think people get too caught up (myself included) in finding similarities of past greats that quite frankly went against the norm - i.e. : Drew Brees - what was he 5 ft 11 and 1/2 inches ? Maybe 6 feet tops - Truth of the matter is, I don't think you will find that happening again or if you do it's just way too unlikely so I agree

Didn’t get to see the game and it sounds like it was an ugly win but a win is a win is a win

Lovie Smith with the most important win in franchise history. Changed the course of three franchises (Texans, Panthers, Bears).

Build him a statue outside NRG

Bryce Young’s Passer Rating today (32.8) was lower than if he threw away every pass (39.6)

Is Burrow slowly moving towards that overrated conversation?

We really dodged an all time bullet but I wonder if all the smoke about the Texans not drafting a QB at #2 would have been true if the Panthers picked Stroud.

Maybe I'm giving them too much credit but if you recall there was some smoke before the pick that the Texans would not draft a QB after all. I could kind of see it for Caserio and McNair, they always like size. I can't see Caserio like AR15 and maybe they weren't sold on the 'intangibles' of Young and all those 'they won't get a QB' rumors were about a scenario where Carolina picked Stroud and Houston then punts on this QB draft class to go for Williams next season.

At one point the saints had as many scoring drives as Bryce had completions which was 6

Brees is one of one, the exception that proves the rule.

I always wondered that if we did win the 1st pick, did they have Stroud as their 1 versus Bryce?

I firmly believe we had Bruce as #1 before the draft process. But when the scouts, coaches and Bobby did a deep dive they picked Stroud. The Panthers did too iirc but David Tepper and his wife made an executive decision. People sight a clip from Josh McCowan and French Reich talking to CJ after the game (maybe before) as evidence.

Edit. I believe other teams did too specifically the Raiders who were rumored to be in talks with Arizona for the pick. I mean he was the only QB who had bs leak about his character. I personally think the Raiders or the Colts leaked the character and test score bs thinking we were still being run by those dipsh*ts BoB and Easterby.

Why the hell are we still wondering about which QB the Texans would've picked if they have the #1 pick? They picked CJ, and just enjoy the fact that we have a true franchise QB. Good luck to Bryce, and I really wanted him to be average at least, but he's trending towards bust. Glad the Texans don't have to deal with that sht.
