It’s a penciled loss with him starting.

Meh, we whooped their ass the first two games.

Arizona scores a lot of runs and when you get a Verlander throwing meatballs (because he doesn’t have his velo/spin/control tonight) this is not surprising at all.

We need to throw up a 6 frame or put the bench out there and move on to the next game.

Technically this is still a no hitter. Don't leave for football yet.

    At the game.

JV needs to be left off the playoff roster.

Without JV we won’t be able to win a World Series this year I think, and with that, you definitely can’t have him be a starter in the playoffs if he continues this way. To put it mildly, we are screwed.

I've seen enough. Verlander has had a great, first ballot HoF career. But it's over for him. He doesn't have it anymore. Time for JV to enjoy post-career life with his smokeshow of a wife.

He should not be in the postseason rotation. Hell, I don't think he can even be trusted in the bullpen. I do not want him facing the likes of Judge, Soto, Gunnar Henderson, Witt Jr or Santander. It would be near-automatic runs for the opposing team.

JVs last start was a disaster as well.

Indications are ratcheting up JV might very well be played out.

Just send him to Sugarland to get in shape and to find his game, if he doesn't .....so what.....??

He can't pitch in the bigs until he finds his A game....we can't afford an automatic loss every 5 days.

Might as well let Bregman rest that elbow and get Whitcomb some at-bats.

    "I love this line up."
"Arizona pitcher is all over the place", they said.
