I actually hoped Trump would and thought when he banned bump stocks that would lead to a break in the party. Congressional republicans resisted any moves by Trump to put in more gun control and even the USSC ruled against the bump stock ban. Conservatives love firearms more than Trump.

the father needs to be charged and thrown in jail the same way Ethan Crumbley’s parents were charged and convicted after his mass shooting and sentenced to 10-15 years in prison u bought your 14 year old son an AR-15 style weapon for Christmas a few months after authorities questioned u and the rest of the family regarding school shooting threats your son had made…now 4 people are dead and many more injured fck him and throw him in jail he should be severely beaten up any time he shows his face in public sick of these low IQ, negligent, gun obsessed morons…throw his ass in jail

Demand justice today (by advocating for more violence of course) and tomorrow go support those who make it easier for the next mass shooting to happen. Spare us your outrage and do something like demand your republican representatives that you support stop kowtowing to the gun lobby. You want to show you really care???… go call Ted Cruz tomorrow, tell them you are a diehard republican, and demand he vote to change the laws to take weapons of war off the street or else you’ll vote for Colin Alred. Yeah I disagree with him philosophically, but sadly, the reality in the USA seems to be that factually, what he says is not untrue. Even many Democrats are very pro-gun and against gun control. And while Australia has somehow managed to take the guns, after living here for a few years now, I just don't see it happening. So I guess all that remains is more mental health support, vigilant law enforcement and yeah, security at schools. I will say that I find it crazy that my young children have to go through drills on what to do if "something happens" (active shooter drills, but they don't spell it out that much in the drills for the very young ones). Parkland is not far from where we live. Insane.
