I didn't see that in the article. If it came from somewhere else, please link. But the current strain of covid isn't as dangerous as the first ones we were dealing with so people haven't felt the same urgency for masking. But I don't have any specific knowledge about Biden's masking during his infection. I do know masking is not mandatory anywhere anymore though.
Do you have proof he did not? You are the one that made the initial accusation. BTW didn't the CDC say that covid transmission is very limited in an outdoor setting? You were saying "hey look, Biden has covid but is not wearing a mask" BUT he is also walking around outside. Thus, not the gotcha you were implying. BTW2 all we have to do is look at the last Trump Biden 2020 debate to see Trump with covid and without a mask on and in an indoor setting.
IIRC it is almost impossible to get covid outside. Biden was outside. This is not 2020 or 2021. We know more. If Biden was sick with covid and was doing a meet and greet at an inside venue, that would not be cool.
They will have Kamala take over before the election, to give her a bump. Unless they wisely realize that that would mean people would hear her talk more, which would of course be detrimental to her chances.
Great job of Joe Biden doing the selfless thing. Joe's legacy will go down as one of the best Presidents in history. So good to have him as President -he has served this country well. DD
With the way this went down -- Biden running and then dropping out after the primary to leave his VP as the only viable option -- I sometimes wonder how differently things would have gone had Biden picked Gretchen Whitmer or Karen Bass or one of his other supposed shortlist candidates.
I mean, if he wanted to do the selfless thing, he would have announced that he wasn't seeking a second term in the first place instead of forcing the Democrats to basically force him out. His issues aren't new. Just a few weeks ago he was fighting with his own party about staying in the race. If he was so selfless, he would have owned up to his issues and not let his entire party and media lie for him for 2-3 years. Instead he was running in the first place and now we're forced to choose between Trump, and one of the most unpopular VPs ever that basically choked on the one issue she was tasked with for 3.5 years (immigration) and that's been anointed by the party elites but would have NEVER won a fair primary. Talk about the Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich choice for 2024.
I'm voting against Trump and to preserve democracy. One side has an authoritarian agenda and the other wants to represent their constituents. Easy choice for me and hopefully for a majority of Americans that haven't been too brainwashed by Sinclair and Fox "News" conservative propaganda.
If you are inferring that she was in charge of the border, you are simply wrong, she was never the "border czar" or anything close to that, that has been explained so many times in so many threads, its a far right lie. Joe has passed some great legislation, bipartisan at that with the gop in control. The Dems screwed up by not having anyone waiting in the wings and Joe was stubborn, thank goodness he made the choice to get out, I don't think he was pushed but he had a nice nudge or two. Anyone with the ego to be President is going to be stubborn Now if the gop had done the EXACT same thing, the gop "could" be high stepping it to the end zone about now.............but its not the gop anymore, its the trump traveling circus. One party is about one person, and one party wants to help us normal joe`s and jill`s
Gretchen Whitmer was my top choice but I don’t think it would’ve made a difference. I’m sure that Republicans would attack her as much as Harris.
I agree with you had Biden withdrawn before the primaries. However, could you imagine the GOP spin if he didn't back Harris once he decided not to run?
They would have attacked whoever the choice was. With Walz the attacks just keep failing to land. That may have been true for any other choice or maybe not. But I feel like part of the reason is Walz himself.
