    Don't go back.

    No to Neris.

I actually really like the bullpen. They have several 5-7 inning type guys with very good stuff.

I like Ort and King and they will only need 4 or 5 guys in the playoffs.

Teams still seeing him for first-ish time… gotta see what happens after the “book”.

Doesn’t mean he can’t adjust back, but for now you just have to take all results exceeding expectation (and all-time great BABIP numbers) with a gentle nod.

Because Wagner actually has a hit tool and none of the prospects brought up to the Astros have much of one.

Hitting is what he was always supposed to do.

Hitting for power, having baserunning value, and being a positive defender are the attributes he lacks which will prevent him from ever being an everyday starter in MLB.

And why any knowledgeable fan does not mind him being traded away.

It's easy to perform on a team that has no expectations and isn't even trying to win

If a man can hit teams will find a spot for him. I disagree with your assessment and think Wagner could've really helped out at 1B with both his bat and his glove.

I am admittedly ignorant of much of the deeper stats and their associated value. Personally I place a higher value on guys that hit. For example Yanier Diaz’s ( bad example because of the power) defense and speed are excused because of his bat.

Someone with all the tools without the hit tool reminds me of Derek Fisher
