While I wanted another bat at 1B, you can't argue with the results. It's going to be a low scoring game. But at least Caratini is in the lineup. What he's doing batting behind Meyers makes me SMH.
Astros moving up the ladder. It was .190 eleven innings ago. 5.2-chi Astros 5-0 in his starts. Let's keep that train rolling. .
I love TK. Even his frequent misspeaks are entertaining. Radio guys talk a little too much no doubt as they're used to radio. And TK and Blummer have great chemistry.
I don't mind TK except when he jinxes no hitters and cries yard on fly balls short of the warning track. He's got great rapport with Blum. I just like Ford a little better. Sparks is good. Stanton says good things, but he simply refuses to ever shut the hell up when he's in a booth. Eschenfelder is unlistenable. Bogusevic is quite good, he needs more run.
Well yeah you CAN argue with the results. Dezenzo with a terrible throw to Pena to start a double play never materialized as Arrighetti dropped a late poor throw by Pena. Should have been routine with a good throw by Dezenzo. That was the deciding run in a 5-4 loss to the White Sox. Fast forward to Baltimore and Singleton not properly playing what should have been a routine 3rd out and a 3 run double next batter and the Astros lose 3-2. 2 losses over barely 2 weeks of play that directly caused losses. And I know I'm missing a couple more plays during the past 15 games in which we've only managed an 8-7 record.
