Yea right? Not a lot of good choices below VC. Tucker get yer ass back here. He was in the cage hitting live BP today so maybe he doesn't go on a rehab assignment......
Since I moved from Houston before the Oilers did, it was natural to follow the players to Tennessee in my situation, but I honestly thought it would be just until the Houston players left the team. McNair stayed until 2005 and in 2006 their top pick Vince Young took over, making the playoffs again the following year. I tried to quit that team several times but the Texans (being a new franchise with all new players) just didn't feel like my team. They didn't even make the playoffs until 2011. I've moved around quite a bit and tried to root for other teams in the city I lived in, but it just never felt right. Astros and Rockets have always been solid. The Titans I'm still wavering on, but the Texans just feel like strangers to me. It's like taking in a stray kid from your neighborhood and calling it yours. It doesn't work like that. If it did then we'd all be champions every year rooting for the best team to win.
What're you even talking about comparing the Texans to a stray kid not your own. The Texans was started in Houston and built up from scratch, from Houston. If anything, the Taxans is your own kid that's growing up and becoming a great adult, but ignored for that ungrateful b*stard son who disowned you as their parent because you didn't buy him a house. That b*stard kid is the titans.
