Just checking: is basso in this thread trying to deflect Trump's actions at Arlington with as much energy as he policed Tim Walz's military record? Or is he simply posting more Xeets?
Had a flat over here in Manvel, stopped at the first tire shop, 2 Mexican dudes, with the Spanish accent n everything, with this in their shop Lol
I have a client that is here illegally that supports Trump because she thinks Biden is giving all of this stuff to new illegal immigrants that she doesn't get despite being here for 20 years.
Now that's a badass shop, you can rest assure your flat will be fixed... If they were Biden/Harris supporters they would just tell you its fixed and that they put a little bit of air in it but it still has a nail through it....
I thought these "illegals" were stealing "black jobs"? So now you like immigrants and their work ethic?
Or they actually went through the process n got here legally. Not all Hispanics are illegal. @krn Illegals are messing the prices up, not the Chicanos.
LOL, says the maga gop who has not passed a dam thing in years while in control.................all ya`ll do is tweet. Dems passed the big bills and compromised to not shut down the country while ya`ll fought over who was gonna be speaker, what a **** show drink the kool aid my man and vote for your rapist in charge while Kamal goes on a run, the likes you have never been seen before in the history of politics, it will be biggly.....................am I doin it right LOL
You sure talk a lot for a guy that’s supposed to be gainfully employed. I’m starting to think you’re just another basement dweller surfing twitter and mooching off the government.
I'm working rn, don't be assuming stuff. I leave my house at 6:30 am, n get back at 6-7 pm, 6 days a week. But I take quick breaks, have few people working, n I make trips if we need something, also sometimes I got 2-3 projects going on so I gotta go back n forth. But I mean think w/e you wanna think
Illegal labor subsidizes our food, agriculture, construction, and hospitality industries. They're not the reason prices are high, they're partially why prices are artificially low. Removing illegal labor from the workforce would show a lot of Americans what the true "cost of things" actually is.
I didn't say that, they are messing up the prices on skilled labor jobs, that alot of blacks n whites would do but can't compete with their prices. I wrote about the other day, but f it I'll explain it to you. For example if you were laying sheetrock, the going price on labor in Houston was (idk now) $1.25. Now you would hire 'em n pay 'em $150-200 a day, which is cool, but few months later he'll just get his own truck/van n start laying it for 75c, that's a lotta money for him because he doesn't have mortgage n all the other expenses that you do so you can't go that low, so obviously he's getting more work than you now, essentially ****ing you over. Texas just needs to do what Arizona did (need a license to do those jobs) but its not the case in Texas yet
I don't disagree with that take at all. I'd prefer that Americans who want to work in construction get that chance while also not lowering their quality of life. What do you think rising prices would do for demand? It seems like critical work would still get done, but a lot of nice-to-have home improvements (decks, additions, etc.) might be put off. This obviously isn't my field. But, I do think that illegal subsidizes everything we eat from the meat we buy at the store to any meal out at a restaurant. Removing that labor pool would make things dramatically more expensive at the dinner table, not to mention the effect of across-the-board tariffs on produce coming in from Mexico.
