Lethal first step. Very few defenders in the world could keep Jalen in front of them. He Looks bigger too. 54 days.

Madison said if Amen clears 30mpg he can make All-Defense.

That’s really not necessary. Not counting bigs (like Wemby, or Jaren Jackson DPOY), 3 guys did it last year, alone … and 7 times in last 4 years

    • Caruso has done it twice running, and wasn’t really even a starter 2 yrs ago when he made 1st team.
    • Derrick White did it two yrs ago.
    • Jaden McDaniels last year
    • Suggs last year
    • Thybulle, 3yrs ago, and 4 yrs ago on 20 freaking mpg off the bench.
but ofc, what makes it harder now is the award is positionless.

Saw Jalen Green drive right down the middle and dunk at the 12 second mark of top video.

Wus Mobley looked like a 6-footer instead of a 7-footer. What a POS. We drafted the right guy.

One of the metrics I am watching to see if Jalen has finished turning the corner is his assist rate. The players who lead their teams deep into the playoffs learn to make that extra pass when they draw a double team. On basketball reference, his assist rate was 17.3% each of the last two years. An assist ratio above 20% is a good indicator for me that he has started creating more for his teammates which should lead to a reduction in difficult shots. Assists per game would be above 5 a game at that point. During the March run, his assist ratio was up along with his scoring efficiency.

    ?

What does this mean? Can't people just enjoy off-season content?

Why doesn't it have to be anything more than that. Who are you arguing against? What claim specifically are you debating?

The twitters is calling for a JG breakout year, taking names, dominating a first round series, or some stuff... because of this run. Same as last year, and year before.

Hope they're right! I'll withhold judgement.

Are you sure you hope they are right? The behavior of your reaction to those comments suggest you might be annoyed if they become right. I hope I'm wrong.

    What?

Are you attempting to make a point?

Are you sure you're a Rockets fan? Based on your posting behavior I think you just want to have Jalen's babies.

Positive comments of a player on your alleged favorite team in off-season pick up game videos

    You: how dare they

What makes it more cringe is how unprovoked it was. Like a poster in the GARM just posted an embedded link of the video and a couple of replies pressing his first step. And you just come in guns blazing.

I mean, it's just playground run - honestly Jalen's already got a game built for that. There is a lot more one on one play and help rotations aren't really there on the playground but I did notice Jalen's head was up as he was heading to the basket looking for help/open guys. He didn't really go up and snatch some of those rebounds but that's not unusual in playground ball. The pace was a little slower there pushing the ball up after the rebound. At first i thought that was Jalen being lazy but then when he found Mobley on that dish when he got behind his man I realized Jalen was being patient for that to open up which was a sign of him using pace to deliver the pass at a moment when no one would be able to react to it.. A few nice things to see but the growth we want to see from Jalen isn't going to be obvious in open gym runs - even if there are a bunch of NBA players there.

We already know Jalen can hit the shot if you let him settle into his dribble moves and shoot in rhythm - but it's not like there was anyone there actively trying to disrupt that and showing doubles at weird times like in a real NBA game. It's just good that he's working hard and - hey, any time you find yourself in the gym with KD frequently, is a good sign of a gym rat.

Anyone know why those particular guys were all together? Do they share the same agent or something?

Definitely not the same agent - likely all working with a handful of trainers working out of Proactive Sports Performance.

    Chet Holmgren was in there.

Dudes are getting together in open scrimmages.

He's not going to become your boyfriend give it a rest.

You can come in and make absolutely no point in response to posts that you clearly by your admitted words have no idea what they are about, and get upset because you feel like your pretend boyfriend is being slandered...

But that wont make him your boyfriend. you cant have his babies. sorry.

though i guess you never know, maybe you can! keep it up... attack any perceived slight of your lover, maybe he's reading!!!! EXCITING!!!

    Pretty much what you said

The only thing to take from gym/park ball in off-season like this is his shot/form seemed to be more in tune and pure on his follow thru motion.....T-ball effect(real shooters on here know what it do)

It is what it be, another day of new content to opinionate about
