Not looked at the numbers lately, but they were getting better. Slowly as older umps retire. Though, there are still going to be a lot of missed calls as pitchers throw hard.

I've hated the royals ever since 2015. I really do feel like, had we closed out Game 4 like we should have (up 6-2 in the 8th inning I think?), we might be talking about 3 Championships in 9 years instead of 2 in 7.

I think a lot of folks here don't live and breath baseball. Its a sideshow and other things in their life are far more important. But even among the dedicated fans, not many watch all 162 games.
