Abreu and his very average WHIP are not reliable in that spot this year.

 

I've had the game in the background so I didn't see Pena's error but Abreu still couldn't shut the door shut and get an out. Just feel bad Brown's teammates are letting him down.

 

Who is the fielding coach!?!?!?!?!? Framber, Spaghetti, Kikuchi and now Brown has been done in by inept defense.

Abreu got weak ass contact twice. The play should have been made before the 88 mph bloop double that barely stayed fair. You give a team 5 outs and that’s the **** that happens. Has zero to do with the pitching change.

Joe Espada sure makes a lot of pointless moves.

 

I have more faith in Singleton than Dezenzo. Dumb over managing by Espada. Would have let Heyward hit here too.
