    And as good as those numbers are, they are inadequate in describing Hakeem's value on the court.
    A shame there isnt a stat that illustrates how many shots a defensive player changes for the opposing offense. Hakeem would be off the charts if it existed.

    Sadly it also included his sole minor season as a Raptor, a fact I wouldn't otherwise mention.

    In Hakeem's defensive prime in the late 80s and early 90s, the Rockets were top 5 defenses pretty much every year except in the 91/92 season. That's a pretty good indication of being an actually great, game-changing defensive player versus empty defensive stats.

    If we all stop posting in it, the Joker fans will be left talking to each other. It’ll eventually peter out, sooner rather than later, in my opinion. Jokic is outstanding, but there is only one Hakeem Olajuwon. We get one of these every year, it seems like. Fans of Dream throughout his career understand just how tiresome these are.
