I for one will admit that my opinion of most middle eastern countries is skewed by what I have seen in my life. I know 9/11 was not wished by all in the middle east, but there was straight hate or leeriness being vocalized by most I encountered during that time. I never saw such outrage in this country (or patriotism). It was a rally cry to go kick some towel head ass. I would never use that phrase now, but back then it was the term a lot were using. As a result, I found myself on an island doing preflight for B1 Lancers for Dessert Storm. All that I have met here after that seemed very nice and were looking for a better future. The individuals I see these days shouting antisemitic rhetoric, and causing problems around the country, honestly make those feeling well back up. I know Israel is NO saint in this conflict, and they may not even be a good ally. But they always say the Devil you know........ I have no problem picking a side in this conflict, but the sheer amount of human carnage just makes me sad for all parties. Call it genocide if you will. But I see this as you started it now, they are going to finish it how they please, whether anyone on this board likes it or not. Can anyone on this board predict how this will end up?
