Here's a link to more info on the Hoverdrome tournament. https://www.unioverse.com/explore/unioverse-hoverdrome-preview-tourney-2/ First time I've heard of Unioverse. I like the concept of building a platform for other creators to build games. Though the idea of buying NFT hero character is kinda weird. What benefit does NFT have over just selling a custom character skin?
Well you don't have to buy one...at all, in fact none of our games have Crypto in them.......but we do allow you to earn in the game and go sell offsite....it is an option not a necessity. Everything in our games can be earned by grinding, no crypto, but if you earn something cool and want to sell it....go ahead. DD
We finished our bit in March of 2019, the publisher and us got into a lawsuit, because they owed us well into 6 figures and allegedly ran out of money, we won all the judgements in the lawsuit, but we decided to settle to avoid having to pay another year of legal fees fighting the appeal - in the settlement we sold the game, and they are allegedly changing to a new engine....so it isn't out yet, but is still apparently being worked on. The game was out for 3.5 years on Steam, at least the multiplayer was, we had not updated single player - which was 17 missions and about 30 hours of single player vs bots...with story, cut scenes, characters everything still to be released....we even had Jovenshire as an actor, and Johnny Elvis from the TV show under the dome as another key character. So, fingers crossed they will do whatever they are going to do - and it will come out, everyone that bought it still gets it, as part of the settlement. DD
