Yep but at the same time Harper hits that ball 3 feet to the left and it’s a double play. Yainer hits his 3 feet shorter and it’s a RBI single.
How many extra hits does he give up per game because of his lack of range compared to an average 1st baseman? How many runs does it cost us per game? (Just his lack of range, not his errors) compared to an average 1st baseman? That’s gonna be a small number and that is the math I am talking about.
Haven't had a complete lineup in a week and we start dropping games left and right. Is it a coincidence? Division lead is shrinking and the Mariners have a cupcake schedule and new manager.
Starting to get more than a little worried about the Astros. These are winnable games they really can't afford to be dropping. I've lost a lot of respect for Tucker for being a complete p***y.
Watching the Astros tonight, my concerns about Espada are on full display. He has to have his finger on the pulse of the game. Blanco should have had an extremely short leash going into that inning. When it was obvious he had lost it, turn it over to our monsters in the pen. Having a tactically challenged rookie manager learning on the job will bite us in close games, especially in the postseason.
We just can’t keep a lead. We absolutely suck in extra innings. Bregman was looking to smash it instead of putting it in play. That was a disgusting at bat.
You quit on the season in 3 months ago -- and don't see anything but negative, then when you're wrong, you disappear like Rvo. Thug in a dress
They almost homered twice off Blanco the inning before. They were all over him. and you roll him out the 3rd time through with their heart of the lineup? We have an absolutely horrific record in 1 run games because stupid decisions like this.
Exactly... People are acting like the sky is falling after every loss. Astros will be 3.5 ahead, at worst, tomorrow morning..
I turned it off after the top of the tenth concluded as I knew it was a loss. You only get so many opportunities and, if Bregman or Alvarez can't push a run across, then f**k it! Blanco is still bad luck.
there are positives, the starting pitching has been really good. cleanup the defense. offense gets tuck. whitcomb looks competent
