There is no such thing as Zion at 85%. Well, it's more myth than reality.

How did Wemby "playing defense" work out for him last time against Sengun?

What has Cade Cunningham done to achieve this sort of ranking? I saw he was also projected to be in Team USA for the LA Olympics and wondered why the **** he would even be in consideration

An argument can be made that Reed Sheppard has shown more ability to captain a team in one Summer League than Cade has shown in 3 years as a pro.

I don't even see how that is possible. The summer league is a place where if your rookie doesn't ball out you have severe concerns. It's not a place where a rookie balls out and you are like "he gonna be a star". It's the summer league.

I think the general idea is that Cade sucks and is overrated and I agree.

What would Amen's scoring efficiency numbers and totals look like if he was asked to fill Cunningham's shoes as a rookie

That means a lot of off the dribble playmaking against POA defenses in half court sets where multiple defenders are trying to strip the ball from you and loading up on you on defense talking away your driving lanes. No security blanket of attacking closeouts or attacking the rim as a roll man to make the job easier for you.

Would Amen also have enough energy after being the primary scorer/playmaker to have the same defensive impact as he had as a rookie on the Rockets being a role player on offense if he replaced Cade's role in Detroit?

Too bad he has only been at 50% so far. Will wait for the day he plays more than 85% of the games to consider the fat boy.

Sengun looked a little sluggish in the videos from the Jalen camp. I think it was Vecenie that mentioned he has had issues coming into camp before in shape. Something to monitor moving forward.

They say this every year, then every year one of the few dudes on the team that looks ready when the real games start is Sengun. Maybe they should go to him and ask him advice on how to properly train and rest in the summer....

In no way did Alp look sluggish. He made it look easy, no need to go as hard as possible when you’re making it look that easy.
The true greats play at their pace, not others

Pretty self explanatory. He didn’t look sluggish in any of those videos. He played at his pace.
That’s what the elite guys do.
Not saying he’s there yet, but that’s a positive sign.
Jalen was doing the same thing, playing at his pace.
