I think we can make it to the play in tournament if each of our youngsters improve and take the next step in their progression/development. BUT if Jalen and Alpi become the best version of themselves and reach their true potential, I think we can make it to first round.

    Obviously no injuries.

everything goes right the Rockets form the first year of their eventual 10 year Dynasty seen in the NBA since the 90s bulls. Jalen Green becomes the second coming of Kobe and Sengun turns into prime (daddy) Sabonis. Jabari Smith hits clutch shot after clutch shot eerily similar to a young Robert Horry. Amen Thompson plays a Rodman - Esque role and everyone re-signs for team friendly deals in the off-season where we eventually go on to win 5 more championships over the next 10 years.....

    .....and then we wake up.

I liked this prediction from sportsnaut where Houston grabs the 8th seed beating Lakers and Grizz, and go head to head with OKC in first. I think this will eventually be Rockets Foe, and team to beat. With Houston now entering the playoff picture with the rebuild. The west is stacked heavily.

I think they might play Minny though or Dallas. And make it to 7th or 6th seed.
