Think the surge in sports debate is over. PTI put it on the map, but Skip and Stephen A turned it up a notch. The evolution now is likely even shorter form on demand takes. Get me in and out. Skip made his money, probably 8M a year for like 20 years. If there is a back story to Skips demise, it doesn't really matter because the format was on decline anyway, at least I think so. Mourning shows and podcasts still have a place as background noise. So content is still needed. It works. Record it, then repackage it to short form consumption. There are cheaper ways to cash in now with a one person take and if Skip wants, he can do that from his home.
It is interesting how, with the rise of consumption through internet clips, the tv programs are being made for that format. I can’t remember the last time I’ve watched one of those shows on tv vs watching an 8 min YouTube clip of it. I need to see skip debate max.

I actually didn't realize Skip Bayless and Rick Bayless were brothers. I ate at Frontera Grill one time in Chicago and enjoyed it.
