John Lucas and his cocaine habit cost the Rockets a shot at a ring, while he has turned his life around for some, he is not exactly a patron saint of wellness. The NBA will probably give him 5 or so games, just to do "Something" and KPJ will continue his NBA journey.... Making excuses for KPJ? John has helped a lot of NBA players. He got himself cleaned up and has become a mentor to many so not sure why you have to take a shot at him.
While I hear with Lucas as a player here, please remember Lewis Lloyd and Mitchell Wiggins got suspended too for cocaine abuse. It wasn’t just because Lucas was gone that the ( that version) team fell apart. Additionally, the Rockets organization was horrible at drafting players in the 80s. They hit on Dream i& Jim Petersen but blew damn near every other draft choice of decade. They were a bad organization. So bad that they damn near blew it with Dream. But being 100% honest, KPJ is a knucklehead of the highest order and any what aboutism you come up doesn’t excuse his punk behavior. He was more physically aggressive with his elders on the coaching staff than he was with his opponents on the court. The Rockets got there asses handed to them on a nightly basis, and I never saw KPJ get overly physical with anyone his own size and age. That makes him a punk in my book. Good luck Clippers, letting Paul George walk and signing KPJ is laughable.
It says a lot about case KPJ when he has to resort to examples from the 80s. More than 40 years ago. KPJ is a dangerous individual even without drugs and alcohol in play.
Losing those guys was an absolute killer. So disappointing to a young (me) teen that loved the team so much. I had color photos from the Post and Chronicle completely covering all 4 walls of my room. I wish we could have seen how the team would have played full strength against Boston.

John turned his life around from drug abuse and uses the lesson he learned to help others with the same affliction. Your man crush abuses PEOPLE and has shown ZERO remorse or evidence that he has turned his life around. Do yourself a favor and shut up. You sound stupid.
