This L goes under the category of stuff happens.

Abreu has been nails. He screwed up the play to 3B. He should've taken the doubleplay. That rattled him understandably. The pitch he made to Santander was a great pitch up around his shoulders, Santander caught up with the pitch. It happens.

Is it me or did Altuve have cement feet on that Ruschtman grounder? Their was a delay and slow motion leap like he was under water.

Late to the party (funeral)… didn’t the Astros do the exact same thing to them last year?

    Is this documented?

I’d like all bullpen pitchers to be in the perfect balance of not overused and not underused. This past week hasn’t given him a lot of obvious opportunities, and with 18 consecutive games you run the risk of any of these guys being unavailable in high leverage if used “just because”.

He was warming up yesterday when Dubin walked 2 guys. I’d imagine people would have been perturbed had he brought him in during a 6-0 or 6-1 game.

I’m also of the mindset that every pitcher has a WTF day. You’d rather it happen when you have a cushion for a post-season spot. As long as he’s not hiding an injury, we can expect him to bounce back.

Giants SP Birdsong looks like a teenager and can't locate for ****. Wouldn't be surprised if Mariners come back, even with their enemic offense.

He just got out of a mess. He lacks command , but has a great arm. All of his pitches have movement hence the one hit. A righthanded Blake Snell?

    Go Giants

First Yordan is scratched, then we blow a 3 run lead in 8th and now the Mariners come back from down 4 in the 8th and about to win. What a ****ing day.

I'd like to know too. I didn't get to see the game so I don't know the context, but looking at the box score it's kind of perplexing.
